Had lunch yesterday with big family and i enjoyed my halibut plate. Everything was cooled perfectly to my taste. Ice cream was good to Little pricey and small portions but as i said good food so is all worth it. Had nice walk around in the Old Folsom small shops after lunch.
I always enjoy my visits to Scott Seafood. We enjoyed lunch here on the long weekend. The food was so tasty. Their salmon is always amazing. I’m not super into seafood in general, but they also have a Crab Bisque that I will go back for anytime. they have a really fantastic cocktail menu too. It is definitely a fancier place, but you can go without feeling like you are not fancy enough. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is fantastic. The bartender is super cool .
So this was mine and my parents first ever visit to Scott's. It started out a little rough. We got there a bit early for our reservation so we decided to sit at the bar. It was a pretty busy afternoon for them so when the bartender asked what we wanted we said a warm drink because it was a very drizzly cold day and asked if we could get a hot chocolate with a shot of Kahlua. The blonde bartender reluctantly took our order but told us it would be 10 minutes or so because they weren't a Star Bucks. So needless to say that didn't sit well with me. We finally got to our table and the waiter was super nice brought us sourdough bread which was the best I had had in a long time. We asked where they got it and he said from Village Bakery in Davis. Shout out to this place for the awsome bread. I got the shrimp roll which was so tasty with nice sizes shrimp and a great bun and garlic sauce. Fries were very crispy but tender on the inside. I also had a bowl of clay chowder which was very hot off the stove. The clams and potatoes where large enough to recognize what they were in each bite. I would definitely recommend this place but if that bartender is there I would probably not sit at the bar again.
5 Stars! We had a wonderful experience celebrating Mother’s Day at Scott’s Seafood in Folsom. Our server, Kendra, was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for and comfortable. Nothing was ever a “no” with her—she truly made every effort to get us exactly what we wanted, and her warm, attentive service made all the difference. The food was delicious overall, though my steak wasn’t cooked to the exact temperature I requested. Even so, Kendra’s exceptional service more than made up for it. My wife and son had a great time, and we all left with smiles. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable!
